ATOM
The Atom tackle football league is designed for athletes (boys and girls) that are 8-10 years old. It is designed to be a non-competitive, fair play league that focuses on developing a players overall understanding of the rules of football, player skill development, team play and sportsmanship.
The Atom league is a full contact, tackle football league. Rocky Minor Football provides all the protective equipment that is required. Each player should provide their own cleats, but we do have cleats available. Please contact your Team Trainer for more information.
Team practices are normally scheduled for Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday evenings with games each Saturday morning.
The game format is a jamboree style structure where teams play a modified game against one team, break for a short half time and then play a second team in another modified game.
